From spring cleaning my body, to using it as a cleanse post partum, to incorporating it into my daily routine for an immune boost and overall wellness, this smoothie has always delivered. i’ve used this nutritional powerhouse for the last 15 years when my body needed any of the above. why don’t you take my 7 day challenge!? follow the recipe i’ve tweaked and perfected over the years (feel free to substitute some ingredients to your liking) for 7 days straight. Drink the smoothie first thing in the morning (you just need to wake up 10 minutes earlier-worth it!!) as your first meal. follow with a healthy lunch and dinner. nosh on fruits, vegetables, and/or some nuts as snacks in between meals.

INGREDIENTS
they should all be organic. you will need a high speed blender or vitamix to blend all of the following ingredients.
1.5 cups filtered water
1/2 banana
1 cored and halved green apple
1 peeled lemon (halved to remove seeds)
1-2 inches peeled ginger root
1 handful baby spinach
1 handful kale (separated from stems)
3 stalks celery
1 tbsp parsley
***feel free to add some superfoods to it! i always add ground flaxseed or chia seeds, maca root powder, and of course can’t live without Collagen peptides (helps with age defying, glowing skin!)
