Ginger Turmeric Shots
Stop buying those expensive ginger shots at the market and make them at home. They’re cheap & easy to make and I keep them in my fridge for easy grab and go most mornings during the wintertime. Don’t let cold season win and keep your immune system working for you.
Make sure you add a pinch of freshly ground black pepper to enhance the absorption the anti-inflammatory compound curcumin that’s found in turmeric!
These shots are:
Citrusy
Spicy
Anti-inflammatory
Vitamin C-rich
Immune-boosting
& Super tasty
Fresh Ginger - Ginger has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It also helps soothe nausea and digestion. I love the spice the ginger juice brings to these shots.
Fresh Turmeric - Thanks to the active compound, curcumin, turmeric is a strong anti inflammatory spice.
Orange - Oranges pack high fiber and high levels of vitamin C providing a plethora of health benefits. I add the peel in for the extra flavonoid benefits (hello gorgeous skin) and polyphenols (disease fighting)-just make sure to wash the peel & buy organic.
Lemon - A great source of vitamin C, lemons can help boost the immune system.
